Seven of the biggest names in Indian Contemporary Music will perform in 7 of the most premium outlets across Hyderabad, giving us a taste of their musical genius & prowess in every strum, every tap & every single act. The Free Bird musical extravaganza includes:

    Mrigya - Rain - The Super Club on 18th November

    MRIGYA, India’s Premier World Music and Fusion Band that hails from New Delhi and has its history intertwined with the Rock Legends of India, Parikrama, whose members founded Mrigya. For over a decade now, Mrigya has been defining World Music and Fusion in the global circuits, winning accolades for their encore acts each time they take the stage.

      Alobo Naga - Taj Deccan - Syn on 20th November

      Alobo Naga and the band, a unique Rock act that made it to the VH1 World Charts at #4 Since their inception in 2010, these boys from Dimapur, Nagaland have redefined the progressive rock music scene in India with their musical innovation.

      Adil & Vasundhara - Via Milano on 30th November

      Adil & Vasu, arguably India’s best Jazz and Blues Act from New Delhi but it’s difficult to put them as a band from the Nation’s Capital. This is because they are most of the time travelling across the globe, performing at a multitude of international fusion music festivals since 2000.

        Ashram - Hard Rock Café on 2nd Dec

        ASHRAM, an Ethno-Electronic Act that has won millions of hearts across the globe, have been producing and performing a unique fusion of Carnatic, Hindustani, folk music and electronica. Entranced audiences, blown away by their musical prowess and the ease with which they sway through genres of music that have developed centuries and in some cases many millennia apart, mark each of Ashram’s performances for two years now.

          Dj Lloyd - Spoil on 7th Dec

          DJ Lloyd is perhaps the only DJ in India who is in the truest sense of the phrase, a disc jockey. He has regularly been mixing with live music and he reached the pinnacle of performance at Music Ka Maha Muqqabla on prime time National Television. He has also collaborated with some of the biggest Indian and international acts including A R Rehman, Sonu Nigam, Nicole Scherzinger, and Nick Warren. In this performance he mixes to the Jazz Drums live.

            The Jass B’stards - Fusion 9 on 10th December

            The JASS B’STARDS, an internationally acclaimed Latino Avant-Garde Disco Act that is full of funk & soul, are the trio of Stefan Kaye on the organ and vocals, Nikhil Vasudevan on the drums, Tony Guinard on the bass and according to them, plus whoever they pick up for the night. Since their inception two years ago during a cult variety cabaret show, the Stiff Kittens, The Jass B’stards have intrigued and mesmerised audiences in India and across the globe with their fun and high-energy filled performances.

              Parikrama - Banyan, N Convention on 14th December

              PARIKRAMA, India’s very own Rock Legend, is celebrating its 20 years of Rock. According to them, Parikrama is a band whose music has a blues and rock and roll influence, with a generous helping of the Indian character. They have been around for over two decades, with a cult following in India, and abroad, so much, that Iron Maiden saw them live and wanted them as their official opening act for every gig of theirs.
